Recipe How To Make Ice Cendol Indonesia


Cendol is one of the typical south east Asia that is quite popular. Cendol with a different name can be found in Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia to Brunei. Cendol made from rice flour served with shaved ice, coconut milk and sugar syrup java.

Material

  • 500 gr. ice cubes
  • Cendol :
  • 150 grams of rice flour
  • 1 tbsp starch
  • 500 ml of water
  • 50 ml of water suji
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 drops of green dye old
  • Ingredients Syrup:
  • 200 grams of red sugar, comb
  • 150 ml of water
  • 2 sheets of pandan leaves
  • 3 pieces (25 grams) jackfruit, cut into 1x1 cm
  • Ingredients Coconut Milk:
  • 400 ml coconut milk from 1/2 grains of coconut
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 sheets of pandan leaves


How To Make


  • Dissolve the rice flour, water, water suji, salt, and dye in dark green.
  • Cook while stirring until it explodes-letup and smooth. Immediately pour into molds cendol. Tap above the basin which contains cold water while rocked. Strain the cendol and set aside.
  • For the syrup, boil brown sugar, water, pandan leaves, salt, and jackfruit over low heat until thick .
  • Coconut milk sauce, boiled coconut milk, salt, and pandan leaves while stirring until boiling. Cool.
  • Serve cendol with syrup, coconut milk, and ice.
